'Souljacker' released in Canada 6-10-2001
The USA still has to wait until January, but their northern neighbours already got Souljacker in their record shops. The CD has been released in Canada.

• It's different than the old stuff, but it still has that same kind of edge as the old ones. Eels covers are always eye-catching and striking--this one's no exception, and like the old ones, it really fits the theme of the album.
• i think the shameless plugging of the previous albums on the back is nothing to be proud of

• Graphicaly, i think the cover is great. wonderful design. I also think the cobination of E looking kinda scary and him holding a dog is wierd and funny, perfectly matched to what ive heard of the album so far.

The official site reports that the live album 'Oh, What a Beautiful Morning' will be available again from the website soon. It was apparently sold out after the release of Souljacker in Europe because lots of people wanted to buy the live album.

The polls at the official site about Butch's hair have been closed, and 51% from all the people who voted thought that Butch would look better bald. So, let's see if he keeps his promise and appears with a bald head at the forthcoming concerts!

• #34 French top 100
• #12 in the UK
• Souljacker. Pt.1 (the single) entered at #30 in the UK singles chart.
• Lots of heavy airplay on French radio stations Oui FM and Le Mouv.
