The official site announced the date for the USA release of 'Souljacker'. The album will be released on March 12 2002. Almost half a year after the European release.
Steve Martin has a new movie called 'Novocaine' and surprise, surprise, the eels song 'Novocaine for the Soul' is in the movie. I haven't been able to locate where exactly, so if anybody has seen the movie and knows where the song appears, mail me.
E. plays in Wenders movie

This has been mentioned before, but according to some sources E. is gonna
play in the next Wim Wenders movie called 'In America'. Bob Dylan is also named to be in
the movie. Nothing official has been announced by both Wim Wenders and E. so far, so you
should still regard this as a rumour.
Tommy supports Corgan's new band 27-11-2001
Ex-eels bass players Tommy's new band (The Abandoned Pools) supported
ex-Smashing Pumpkins new band Zwan. They did a show in LA a week ago.
New tourdates announced 10-11-2001
The official site
has announced three more tour dates in Austria and Italy, you can see them on the tour dates page.
Furthermore, there have been rumours that after the European tour, the eels will come to
Japan, Australia and New Zealand around January. Nothing officially confirmed on those
dates though.
