from Nine Inch Nails selected 'Novocaine for the Soul' as a personal favourite on an MTV
show, according to his official news site.
: The eels will
be appearing once more in the Netherlands! On july 11th in Tivoli, Utrecht. Presales start
at 3 june, tickets cost 47.50 -, guilders.
: Good news for
all 3speed visitors! I finished my examens and will now have time again for a daily
update. I am also working on the new design, with a bit of luck i can release it at the
end of this week.
Thursday 25 may
: Bad news for
all US eels fans. About half of all the US dates have been cancelled! :-( According to an
article at cdnow.com only the New York, San Fransisco and the two Los Angelas shows will
be played. This could be because DOTG only sold 25000 copies in the states, and there have
been some rumours that eels may be dumped by dreamworks. Read the full article here.
However, there has been some news about NEW tour dates in the UK, probaly because the eels
have sold a lot more copies of DOTG in the UK and Europe (it went Platinum in belgium).

: RUMOUR: the
rock werchter festival (eels are playing there) will be live broadcasted by the dutch
music channel TMF, i haven't had any confirmation about this, as soon as i have it i'll
let you know.

Beautiful Blues' is appearing in a movie called 'Road Trip', and there was a video for the
song! According to Andrew from the spunky2 list the clip featured 'basically scenes
from the movie (Road Trip) but they got alot of the movie cast to "sing". E is
driving the bus in the movie, eventually he gets up and starts beating up a kid. And then
E and Butch just play drum
and guitar infront of a college...'

: The video clip
for 'Flyswatter' is out! It has been show at MTV Europe, a spunkster typed up a report:
' E's playing guitar with a little bird on it ; Butch is dressed in clown (with all the
stuff) in a truck ; A nun is in a car, then she undresses and wears a bikini, takes a
surfboard and runs to the beach ; Later, she's skatboarding...'. As soon as it's posted
online somewhere, i'll upload it to 3speed.

: The counter
passed the 2500! Thanks for your visits to the site, and watch for the new design, i have
worked on it for a few days, but won't be able to finish it within two weeks because of my
final exams. Look out for it sometime in June. Anyway, it looks great, it wil not only be
a new lay-out, there will be many more sections, interactive things and more..

: There will be
an Flyswatter video! According to Edgar Kruize from the great A band called eels reported that 'It features
actress Sarah Lassez. She plays the part of a nun who ends up going surfing. What the hell
that's got to do with the song... I haven't got a clue, but it sure sounds interesting.'.
I hope that it will be released somewhere on the net soon, so i can get a link up!
