" with how well e and ray's voices would work together, i can't believe you people are voting for friggin tori. wail on, red. "
" actually my answer would be none of the above, i'd like to see him collaborate with Marilyn Manson. I reckon that they know each other, they have alot in common anyway.....Manson dated Fiona Apple, E supported her...."

Eelstheband.com E. interview posted! 11-2-2001
Finally, eelstheband.com has posted the 'You interview E.' article on the website. Over the past few weeks all visitors could ask a question. The best ones were selected, and E. answered them. Click here for the article, a true must-read for any eels fan. A few of the most interesting questions:

Q: When can we expect the next album, and will it be from Eworks or Dreamworks?
A: It will be from Dreamworks. Eworks is just our little label to put out limited edition stuff. (We had to come up with a name quickly). There are several records in the making. One of them will be the next one, hopefully later this year, depending on Dreamworks' whims.

Q: Why was "Fucker" a B-side? Did you think it didn't fit well with the rest of "Beautiful Freak" or was it pressure from the label telling you that they didn't want a song titled that on your debut?
A: It wasn't the label. I never had it on the album. I don't remember why. I think I thought it was too personal. It was a letter I wrote to someone and later set to music and I didn't think anyone would enjoy hearing it.

Q: Why don't you make more records like Oh What a Beautiful Morning with unreleased tracks?
A: Why don't you? Oh, sorry. Well, actually, since you asked, we are putting together another live album, this time from the Electro-shock Blues Show tour. Maybe we will put it out like the Oh What A Beautiful Morning CD on EELStheband.com.

The return of the quotes 11-2-2001
The quotes have returned. Sorry for the delay, i have been a bit busy the last few days.

Butch's beard in the polls 2-2-2001
There was a poll at eelstheband.com where people could vote for the new look that Butch should have. They could chose between six different configurations of beard/moustache,etc. After a week, number 4 was chosen, and Butch is now currently growing his new hair. Check the official site for the article and a picture of Butch after shaving off his beard.

New eels song rumour 2-2-2001
There is a rumour that the eels may have recorded a new song called 'The Object' which was broadcasted on radio. Apparently, it featured only E. Nothing officially confirmed about this yet.

Eels songs on tv 2-2-2001
Music by the eels has been featured on quite some tv shows for the last few days. Charlotte from spunky2 reports that she watching 'Trigger Happy Tv' (sort of candid camera) when they played 'Novocaine for the Soul' and 'It's a Motherfucker' during the show. She also mentions that Flyswatter was used on Top Gear (a BBC show about cars).
