eels concert - Tivoli, Utrecht, The Netherlands (11-7-2000)

Utrecht was a good show. Not as good as Tilburg, but here they DID play 
Going Fetal as a last track and we got to hear Spider sing Last Stop:This 
Town and during the eels set he came out to do My beloved Monster with E 
backing him up on bongos.

My recording turned out crap! First a guy comes and sits on my microphone (I 
hid it in my bag, which was on a flightcase), then during Spider's version 
of My Beloved Monster my battery dies on me (damn... I had bought new 
batteries just for this show...) and the overall sound was still not too 
good. A Lot of basstones and loud drums... oh well. At least the 2 shows I 
saw in Utrecht and Tilburg were among the best I witnessed this eels tour. 
The band seemed more playful and happy to be on stage.
