eels concert - Tivoli, Utrecht, The Netherlands (11-7-2000)

The Utrech Gig was great. I had a seat with my brother in law (ok two seats) at the 3rd row on the right, everything was good to see. At the begin Spider was singing a coupla songs and then he asked if we wanted to know something about Eels. It was quiet for a moment and then someone shouted: "How old is E!?", the answer was again 37, was that someone from Spunky2? And then he started to fuck up Last Stop: This Town and when the low-voice should sing there was suddenly a voice from no-where, Butch did it very cool.
And at the end the whole Orchestra, Butch and Lisa were on stage and then they anounced E. He got convoyed like he was a blind man or something like Andrea Borcelli, that was cool.
They played most of my favourite songs, so that couldn't be wrong. My Beloved Monster was great! They started a littlebit quiet and then suddenly they exploded; can't describe it right, you should've been there. Oh yeah, they asked the crowd which song the wanted to hear, just like in Tilburg wasn't it?, and then they said they didn't knew the words and stuff like that. At the end they started playing Fucker 'cause Spider wanted to. Wow, E can do so good bongowork, that was great at Hospital Food as you know of the MEBB-single. They started and in the middle of the song they stopped and Butch had to do a speech (someone right behind me shouted him every time to do a speech; that was annoing, someone from the list?). Everything he said sounded so cool, 'cause he has such a low voice. And then the speech was done and they continued the song just where it ended, they really did rock the house!
They came back for a coupla songs and then got away again! Everyone was shouting and clapping and whistling and then they got back and played MEBB. Then I tried to ask spider to get a set list for me, but it didn't work out.
There was also a real freaky wannabe-E, was that someone from the list too?
