eels concert - 013, Tilburg, The Netherlands (10-7-2000)

the show in tilburg yesterday was a blast. Actually I had not expected that, 
as I received some VERY negative reviews of the current eels shows in 
Austria and Denmark. I myself saw the show in Werchter and that was also a 
very crappy one. Anyway, Tilburg was great. 2 new songs were played (sorry, 
I don't know any titles), the complete setlist was different to the shows 
earlier this year, they have a new trumpetplayer (= not the same as on the 
last tour) AND all E's jokes had changed. Roadie Spider opened the show with 
a hilarious 20 minute set...

The only downpart of the show was the sound. It was horrible. You could 
hardly hear Lisa play and although Butch is a great drummer, his drums were 
way too loud. At sometimes you couldn't hear E sing because of the loud 
drums. Same goes for the bass... way too loud. During it's a motherfucker I 
had a hard time hearing the piano... too bad...
