i went to the southampton gig last night and got up the front during the
end - i was right in front of lisa and she shook my hand! the whole concert
was brilliant, even tho quite similar to the one i went to in london last
march - for those of you who don't know i got free tickets from butch
himself and passes to meet them after! this time he didn't know we were
coming,so we went round the back and saw a room full of people and just
shouted for butch! he remembered us!!!!!!he let us in, and took us to their
dressing room (on the way stopping for a chat with lisa who was just
leaving) where we found everyone, including E in his pyjamas!!!!!! we
talked for ages and had photos, autographs, butch even gave us his band
diagram and some stickers, and i got a big hug from E and a huge hug and
really sweaty (but i won't complain...) kiss from butch!
me and my mate fiona bought t-shirts which we got signed - E wrote on each
of ours - my name is alex (fiona for fiona) and then signed his name, and
butch wrote butch likes puppies on mine and butch drums on fionas. what i
didn't think of is that they will be incredibly difficult to watch, or
impossible even.....
butch told us that next time we'd get meeting up sorted out beforehand, and
E said to me see you next time, so they'd better be back!!!
they said they'd be back about november , and E said they may not release
another single but if they did, he liked jeannies diary.
the only bad thing that happened is that i had planned to record the
concert as i did in london, but...i did not anticipate the bag search as it
was a small venue.....shit.
