E was wearing jeans and a matching jean jacket.... opened with this crazy
instrumental rip on the piano...the half full crowd was into E, laughing
and
the such. basically the show went as DA said.... he WAS very happy it
seemed.
playing all the jolly shtuff. before a swell version of Novocaine he
pointed out that
"here is an old song...its from around the 1900's, around the turn of the
century,
not many of you were alive then....nah, its from 1996..." D.A. forgot to
mention
that he played (SWEET HOME ALABAMA) as a closer.... changing the words to
"sweeeetttt hommmmmee Alllaaaa....TENNESSEE." the set list was as
follows:
ABORTION
I LIKE BIRDS
MOTHER FUCKER
FEELIN' GOOD (very bob dylanish...prob. was)
GRACE KELLY
DAISIES OF THE GALAXY
NOTHING INSIDE
MR. E'S
NOVOCAINE ALA SOUL
SWEET HOME ALABAMA
(on the set list but not played: PACKING BLANKETS)
And then he walked off the stage, i felt quite a bit spent.
post-orgasmic
depression set in. Fiona was good, but like i said before....she was
whining,
making excuses: " please don't judge us, things just don't seem to be
coming
together." SHUT UP AND PLAY FIONA!!!!!!! her band rocked
though....specially
lead guitarist...... very pink floydian.
