Husky's Daisies of the galaxy review
------------------------------------
Hi there all, i just got back from the city where i got my copy of 'Daisies of the Galaxy', to celebrate this great thing, i thought i should write a review, so here i go..
The CD comes in a cardboard box, the cover is the 'postcard' image , you can see it at
this URL:

There is a small sticker on the box indicating that it includes MREBB.
When you open the box there is a booklet on the left containing the lyrics to all the songs (except BB), on the right is another picture from the greek picture book. When you open the right flap, it reveals a page containing all the people that worked on the album, including a very nice drawing of E.
The page includes a few very nice jokes like 'Recorded at Chateau E.', 'Produced by A Man Called E. (Once named Mark Oliver Everett) and 'No samples were harmed during the making of this record'. The album is 'for Nancy', which i believe is E.'s mother (correct me if i'm wrong).
The CD itself contains the faces of the two boys that could be seen on the 'Advance CD' (the whole picture of the boys can also been seen somewhere on the cd case) and a pic of butch's face.
The CD contains 14 songs and the bonus track 'Mr. E's. Beautiful Blues' all the songs are the same as on the advance CD, the songs were not altered or something like that. All the songs are far more happier than the ones on 'Electro-Shock Blues'. Highlights on the album are 'Grace Kelly Blues', with a really great intro, 'I Like Birds', 'Estate Stale' which was co-written with Peter Buckley from R.E.M, 'Tiger in my Tank', a very sharp critic song about the commercializing of the whole music industry, 'Jeannie's Diary' and 'Mr. E's Beautiful Blues', which is the perfect song if you're a little down.
Conclusion: A very good CD, although IMHO it has just a little too much 'happy guitar
songs' and it al sounds maybe a bit the same, it is still one of the best releases of the
year.
On a scale from 1 to 10 i would give 'Daisies of the Galaxy' a 8.5, (where i would give
ESB a 9).
